Brandi Ashby has been a paralegal with our firm since May 2021.
Brandi joined our firm after graduating from Missouri Western with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice as well as an Associate’s Degree in Legal Studies. While Brandi attended the University, she received recognition for her outstanding academic performance, making the Dean’s List for three semesters and the President’s List for one. Brandi graduated Cum Laude.
Brandi completed her internship at M.A.R.C.H. Mediation Services as an Intake Specialist, assisting families in dispute seeking resolution and limited legal services in their custody, access, visitation, and child support matters. Brandi also worked concurrently with Human Kind, Inc., a nonprofit organization, assisting the Clay County community and beyond by fostering positive trauma-informed communication and education to families in need. During this internship, Brandi proceeded to achieve a Core Mediation Training Certificate as well as a Domestic Mediation Training Certificate.
Brandi looks forward to furthering her education at Creighton University in 2022, when she will begin working on achieving her Master’s Degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution.
Her interests include travelling, reading, and learning new languages, and is semi-fluent in American Sign Language!
